Picked for Cotton Bowl
Tiger pride lives on and heads to Dallas

Mizzou players and fans are headed to the Cotton Bowl for the team's first New Year's Day bowl since 1970.
After a Big 12 Championship loss to Oklahoma, Tiger fans have stepped up in support of the 11-2, No. 6 (BCS) Mizzou football team and its historic season. Mizzou yesterday accepted a bid to play Jan. 1 in the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
By the middle of this morning, the Mizzou Ticket Office had sold out of its allotment of 16,000 tickets to go see the Tigers play in their first New Year’s Day bowl since 1970.
Bowl packages are available through the Mizzou Alumni Association.
Update: Tickets for the Cotton Bowl officially sold out in record time within 24 hours of the bowl invitation. More than 70,000 fans are expected to attend this Big 12 vs. SEC matchup featuring Heisman candidates Chase Daniel (Missouri quarterback) and Darren McFadden (Arkansas runningback).
